Car Park Guide for Arrow Valley

Nine car parks serve Arrow Valley Country Park and provide access to the park in various locations.

Here are the locations you can choose from, as well as maps, to help you plan your visit to our lovely park.

Arrow Valley Visitor Centre Car parks, Battens Dr, Redditch, B98 0LJ (2.1m height restriction)

Two Car Parks one at the entrance on the left and one near the Visitor Centre with disabled parking.

Please note works are taking place at these car parks from April – June and it may not be in use.

Proctors Barn Lane Car Parks (2.1m height restrictions)

There are 3 car parks along this access road to the Redditch Sailing Club, Redditch, B98 8PT

Directions

Start out at Arrow Valley Visitor Centre. Turn right onto Bat­tens Drive (B4497). At roundabout take 3rd exit onto Warwick Highway (A4189). Take 1st slip road leading to Old Forge Drive. At mini roundabout take 2nd exit leading to Holloway Drive. At mini round­about take 2nd exit onto Holloway Drive. At mini roundabout take 2nd exit onto Marlfield Lane Turn right onto Proctors Barn Lane and continue on for Car Parks.

Arrow Valley South

Washford Lane Car Park, Washford Ln, Redditch, B98 0HY,(2.1m height restriction)

Car Park near Washford and Pathways Football Pitches.

Directions

Start out at Arrow Valley Visitor Centre. Turn right onto Battens Drive (B4497). At roundabout take 2nd exit onto Icknield Street Drive (B4497). Turn right onto Washford Lane. Turn left for Car Park.

Redditch Wheeled Sports Hub Car Park, Icknield Street Drive Car Park (2.1m height restriction)

Car Park near the Redditch Premiers BMX Club, Redditch Wheels Project Skate Park, Arrow Valley Pump Track.

Directions

Start out at Arrow Valley Visitor Centre. Turn right onto Battens Drive (B4497). At roundabout take 2nd exit onto Icknield Street Drive (B4497). Turn right onto Wild Goose Lane and continue on for Car Park.

Arrow Valley Lake, Broad Ground Car park, (2.1m height restriction and site safe cones) Lakeside Industrial Estate, Broad Ground Rd, Redditch, B98 8YS

Broad Ground Car Park (Shakespeare Car Park) near Arrow Valley Lake

Ipsley Pool Car Park, Redditch, B98 7FX, (2.1m height restriction)

Car park near Ipsey Pool.

Directions

Start out at Arrow Valley Visitor Centre. Turn right onto Battens Drive (B4497). At roundabout take 3rd exit onto Warwick Highway (A4189).  Filter left. At mini roundabout, take 2nd exit (Old Forge Drive). Turn left for Car Park.

Arrow Valley North

Bordesley Abbey Ruins and Forge Mill Needle Museum, Needle Mill Ln, Redditch, B98 8HY (2.1m height restriction)

Two Car Parks one at the entrance (height restricted) and one outside of the museum (this one has no height restriction)

Horse Boxes

If you wish to use the equestrian routes in Arrow Valley Country Park, horse boxes are best parked at Ipsley Church Lane. There is no specific horse box parking at Ipsley Church Lane, but this is based on feedback from other horse riders.

Height Restrictions

All the car parks at our parks and open spaces have a height restriction at varying levels. We have set clearly marked, locked and restrictive height barriers to ensure the safety and security of our car parks.
