This year, Redditch Borough Council are commemorating Holocaust Memorial Day with two events on Sunday 26th January 2025 and a community art exhibit at Redditch Library.

Redditch Holocaust Memorial Day - In Conversation with Simon Winston and Mirsad Solakovic

This year, we are marking the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkeanu and the 30th anniversary of the genocide in Srebrenica with special talks from two extraordinary survivors of genocide.

Redditch Holocaust Memorial Day - Outdoor Service

Our outdoor service for Holocaust Memorial Day will be taking place on Sunday 26th January 2025.

Redditch Holocaust Memorial Day - Community Art Project

In Redditch, we have decided to commemorate this important day by expressing our feelings through poetry, art, sculpture, maybe even music or dance, and bringing our ideas together in a piece of collaborative artwork that we will be displaying in Redditch Library.
