Walking Football for Women

The sessions are cost £2.00 per session (of 1 hours) and are suitable for all ages, abilities and fitness levels.

Football boots are not required as this is a walking sport, trainers are suitable footwear.

Walking football offers many health benefits as well as being great fun for any age.

There is plenty of evidence to support how exercising has health benefits including reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease and stroke while improving blood pressure and walking football is no exception.  It is an excellent way to stay or get fit and healthy!

We have found that Walking Football drastically reduces the amount of contact and tackling in the game, which takes away the risk of injury and makes it perfect for people who have been out of the game for a while or who have never played.

We will be offering some basic coaching too, including passing, shooting and controlling the ball.

This session is ideal for anyone who wants to play football for fun, meet other people and who generally enjoy being part of a team.
