For people living with arthritic pain in the the knee, hip or back
Escape-Pain is a group rehab programme for people living with joint pain that uses education and coping strategies alongside exercise. It helps you to understand your condition, teaches you simple things you can help yourselves with, and takes you through a progressive exercise programme so that you can learn how to cope with the pain better.

- Starting Wednesday 23rd October 2024
- 6 weeks
- 12 sessions
- FREE
- Meeting days Wednesdays and Fridays
- 2:30pm to 3.30pm

Enabling Self-management and Coping with Arthritic Pain using Exercise
ESCAPE-pain is a rehabilitation programme for people with chronic joint pain, that integrates educational self-management and coping strategies with an exercise regimen individualised for each participant. It helps people understand their condition, teaches them simple things they can help themselves with, and takes them through a progressive exercise programme so they learn how to cope with pain better.

- Reduces pain
- Improves physical function
- Improves the psychosocial consequences of pain
- Reduces healthcare and utilization costs.
