Special arrangements in place for next Planning Committee Meeting

Seating capacity has been increased and a live stream is in place as part of special arrangements for Redditch Borough Council’s next Planning Committee meeting.

On Wednesday 20^th March 2024, the Committee will consider an application for residential development with play areas, public open space including footways and cycleways, sustainable urban drainage systems and enabling infrastructure on land West of Hither Green Lane, Redditch. Application reference 21/01830/FUL.

It is anticipated that the application will attract a lot of community interest and so public speaking arrangements have been extended over and above the normal limits. In addition, the meeting will be live streamed.

While extra seating will be available for the meeting at the Town Hall, capacity is limited to 70 seats, and these will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Interested parties are asked to use the livestream service where possible.

On the night the Town Hall car park will not be available to the public, although any registered speakers who need disabled parking can contact Democratic Services to reserve a space at democratic@bromsgroveandredditch.gov.uk
