Fountain of Knowledge Available in Redditch

Did you know Redditch Borough Council has one accessible place that has everything there is to know about local services and support available in Redditch?

The Redditch and Bromsgrove Knowledge Bank is a website built in partnership between council officers and our Voluntary Sector partner BARN (Bromsgrove and Redditch Network) to create a complete local services directory.

Leader of Redditch Borough Council, Cllr Joe Baker, said: “The Redditch Knowledge Bank is an amazing way for residents to access local statutory and voluntary sector services that they previously may not have known about but could be of use to them.”

“The promotion of this directory will encourage local people to use local services and build a fresh community spirit.”

The council Community Services team maintain the Knowledge Bank internally, with statutory services, with help from BARN who focus on Voluntary and Community Sector organisations.

CEO of Bromsgrove and Redditch Network, Gary Roskell, said: "This is a great example of what happens when the Voluntary and Community Sector and the local councils work together. A Knowledge Bank full of the huge range of services and resources available to support Bromsgrove and Redditch residents. We're really proud to be part of this amazing initiative."
