Here you will find the Council’s Safeguarding policies and procedures.

The Council believe that safeguarding is everybody’s business, with employees, Councillors, contractors, volunteers, partners and the public playing a part in promoting wellbeing, preventing harm and responding effectively if there are concerns about neglect or abuse. '

The Council will work with its partners to help to protect those least able to protect themselves, whilst empowering them and respecting their wishes, needs and feelings.
