Voter ID Requirement

From 4 May 2023, voters in England will need to show photo ID to vote at polling stations in some elections. Find out more here.

Voting in Person

It's simple to vote in person, which is when you go to a polling station and vote on election day, you can also find out where your polling station is too

Voting by proxy

Under certain circumstances you can apply for a proxy vote which allows you to nominate someone else who votes on your behalf.

Voting by Post

You can vote by post, which is when you send your vote to us in the post so that it arrives by the close of polls on election day.
