Redditch Town Centre Grant
What is the Grant Scheme?
Redditch Town Centre Grant scheme provides match-funded grants between £1,000 and £5,000 to businesses located in Redditch Town Centre. Funding is available for expenditure that will improve the customer experience and / or improve the business’ performance including improvement to ground floor frontages, fixture and fittings for retail space, marketing and equipment.
This project is part-funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
The grant will be operated by rounds until the funding has been allocated. Applications are dealt with on a first come, first served basis.

Am I eligible?
The grant is available to businesses that trade from business premises in Redditch Town Centre (please see map). Applicants must have no outstanding business rates charge including BID levy. Applicants must have a current business plan and financial forecasts. Grants are limited to one per business on a first-come, first served basis.
The Grant
- Successful applicants will be offered 50% of the costs of an eligible project up to a maximum of £5,000. At least 50% of costs must be funded from the business’ own resources. The minimum grant amount is £1,000.
- The grant may not be used for recurring costs (including salaries, stock, rent, business rates, utility charges, repairs and renewals etc.) or for the repayment of existing loans or debts. The grant is not retrospective and cannot be used for the reimbursement of goods or services purchased prior to approval of the grant.
- Grants will be paid upon receipt of evidence of eligible expenditure being made on or after the grant approval date. Businesses are required to pay for the goods / services before claiming the grant.
- All projects must be delivered with 3 months including financial completion.
