The Elevate Manufacturing Programme is an exclusive and unique offer to support the manufacturing growth challenges faced by SME’s within the Borough of Redditch.

What’s on offer?

Delivered by Oxford Innovation, on behalf of Redditch Borough Council and Worcestershire County Council, the programme offers high quality diagnostic insights and delivers impactful advice and support.

You will receive expert guidance, one to one bespoke business consultancy, peer support masterclasses and grant funding. 

Eligibility

To be eligible your business must

• be a SME;
• be trading from business premises within the Borough of Redditch;
• be trading within the manufacturing sector for a minimum of 3 years;
• have at least 5 employees;
• and have received less than £315,000 in subsidies over the previous 3 years.

Benefits

You will receive a bespoke package of support which will assist with identifying opportunities to innovate, improve productivity, and increase sustainability.  Topics covered could include:

• lean manufacturing,
• supply chain management,
• advanced manufacturing technologies,
• environmental and sustainability practices,
• operations efficiency,
• product development and innovation,
• industry 4.0

Grant Funding

Participant businesses will also be eligible to apply for revenue grant funding of up to £2,000 to subsidise delivery of an improvement project identified as a result of the support.  The grants are awarded on a match-funded basis where the SME will provide at least 60% of the total cost of the project.  The grant can be used to fund a variety of projects such as market research and analysis, developing business systems, digital marketing and e-commerce, supply chain development, new product development and intellectual property.
