Lotteries and Gambling

Gambling is regulated to ensure that it is fair and open, to protect children and other vulnerable people and to prevent crime or disorder. If you want to carry out any regulated gambling activities you may need a licence.

Gambling licenses are often closely related to Premises Licenses and licenses for other forms of regulated entertainment.

Gambling Premises Licences

If you want to use premises to provide facilities for gambling, you will first need to obtain a premises licence from us under the Gambling Act 2005.
